I am overjoyed to share that I held a workshop alongside Arthur Torrington CBE on 22nd June 2024 at the London School of Economics.
The aims and intentions of the workshop were to:
To meet with like-minded professionals and practitioners
To promote a topic of history which more than derserves its place as a staple in British History
To comment on the climate of learning in schools in england since recent developments and documentation
To share strategies, resources and effective implementation of the concept of Windrush
Overall, it was a glorious experience and I throrougly enjoyed networking with other educators, creatives and members of the NEU. I look forward to the next one and I am eager to engage with Black Neu network in my district! A perfect start to in person appearances and meeting with like-minded individuals!
